The Alpha-X holster by Double-Alpha has taken the shooting world by storm, fast becoming the choice of top shooters worldwide. And while the reviews and feedback have been overwhelmingly positive, we have had a few requests for a Thigh Pad option to be made available for this holster.
And we are now pleased to offer you just that – a compact yet effective Thigh Pad option for your Alpha-X holster. No screws or glue required. Simply slide the Thigh Pad on over the bottom of the holster’s belt attachment, until the tabs at the top of the extended arms click into the pockets and keep the Thigh Pad in place. To remove, pull those tabs up and out of the pocket they are clipped into, and slide the piece down and off (it may be a tight fit, to prevent wobble)
Suitable for use on both Right-Hand and Left-Hand holsters.
First batch compatibility issue: Please note! If you have one of the very first holsters (from 2016) your holster hanger does not have the corner chamfer as shown in one of the pictures here. Your hanger is also a little wider, and this Thigh Pad will NOT fit your model holster. Sorry.

In recent years Double-Alpha Academy's competition holsters have been setting the benchmark for advanced design and cutting-edge performance. The Race Master Holster has become the go-to competition holster worldwide for many top Champion shooters in our sport.
Double-Alpha is known for not standing still, and over time the Race Master Holster has been improved. Upgrades and refinements were made to its hanger system and more recently, to the patented insert block, making it magnetic and improving its performance further.
And now, over the past few months, DAA has been working on the next generation holster. We are very proud to introduce the Alpha-X holster!
The ALPHA-X was born of years of experience and market feedback, looking to take the Race Master Holster even further, creating a new fresh, striking look and adding several meaningful performance upgrades.
New Ball Joint and Lock-Up Mechanism
The ball joint of the Alpha-X offers a wide range of motion, allowing you to position your holster at just the right angle. This holster uses a much larger ball joint and a pressure lug lock-up, which locks the ball firmly without marking or damaging it. With this system even the smallest adjustments are always possible.
The ball joint is now located higher up, closer to the center of the holster. This reduces the torque and forces applied, contributing to the solid rigid feel of the holster.
A large easy-to-reach one-screw locking system allows you to adjust the holster position even when wearing it.
Body Rail Height Adjustment
The Alpha-X achieves its height adjustment by means of a rail built directly into the side of the holster body itself. This offers an extended range of adjustment and again reduces torque and forces applied. Here too the lock up is achieved by an expanding dovetail mechanism that does not gouge or damage the rail.
Detachable Belt Hanger
The Alpha-X has a two-piece belt hanger which can be dismantled by opening a single screw, allowing all position settings to be maintained while removing the holster body from the belt for easier space-saving transport.
The Alpha-X belt bracket is designed to fit only on a 1.5” wide competition style belt. It will not fit on a 1.75” or a 2” belt unless you are prepared to cut a piece out of the belt. And, like all Race holsters, it should only be used on a firm, rigid, thick belt.
Interchangeable Color Logo Inserts
The Alpha-X is available in black anodize only, with an assortment of optional color inserts for the hanger and body logos. You can change these laser-cut plastic inserts whenever you choose.
The DAA 1911/2011 Ambidextrous Safeties with Shields are precision-made stainless-steel Safeties made with state-of-art Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology. They are designed for use on any 2011 or 1911 pistol, with some minor fitting required. It is always recommended to have a competent Gun Smith fit safeties!
Due to popular demand we are now pleased to offer you the DAA Super-Strong magnets, sold separately, for mounting on the DAA Alpha-X / Race Master pouches, or any other type of base you care to use them on.These Zinc plated magnets are incredibly strong, offering approx. 87kg of pull strength. With these magnets, you can slap on that magazine quickly and confidently and know that it will not fall off as you move. The magnets measure almost 50mm in diameter, and are 12mm thick (with their casing).Fitting to an Alpha-X / Race Master Pouch:In the front of the pouch there is a 4.2mm hole, which can be used to attach the magnet to the pouch body. You will need to tap (thread) this hole using an M5 Tap. Do it carefully and slowly as the thread needs to be precise, as there is only a 2.5mm side wall to work with. once done, simply screw the magnet directly onto the front of your leading pouch. We suggest using a little LockTite on it, to keep the screw from opening.Do not worry if the tip of the screw protrudes slightly into the pouch body - the magazine does not reach down far enough to hit it.
A replacement threaded die body for your Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA Dropper. This threaded body is compatible with all calibers.
The DAA XL650 Debris-Out Casefeeder Adaptor is the answer to a real problem many reloaders are all too familiar with: when cleaning brass with corncob or other dry media, often small bits of media remain mixed with the brass, and are fed down the case feeder tube. When they reach the tighter diameter of the adaptor tube, they wedge against the cases, causing a feeding jam. You then have to stop reloading, take apart the feeding pipe, clear the jam and only then continue.
But with the new DAA XL650 Debris-Out Casefeeder Adaptor, which replaces the original Dillon case feeder adaptor on your XL650, the slots cut in the pipe allow the debris to fall out the sides onto the small collection tray (we like to keep our workbench clean and neat!) and the chances of a jam-up are greatly reduced.

Not suitable for use on other Dillon reloading models, and cannot be used in conjunction with the DAA XL650 Mini case feeder.
Many PCC shooters use extended Glock Magazines, often with long base pads added for even more capacity.
To ensure the best possible retention in our Racer and Race Master mag pouches, we are pleased to offer this dedicated extended Glock Side spacer.
Simply assemble this spacer instead of your short one, and allow the bottom of your long mag to extend out the bottom of the pouch body, for a more balanced more secure retention.
The long spacer offers three hole positions in which to place the stopper, giving you the ability to experiment and decide for yourself what the best depth for your magazine is.
NOTE: this spacer is not compatible with the Alpha-X line of pouches. Magazine and Magazine Pouch not inlucded!
Some Mr.BulletFeeder users have asked for the option to extend the output feed spring, to allow them to position the collator further away, or perhaps position one collator between two presses and use it to alternately feed each machine.
To meet this request we are pleased to offer the output springs and a screw-on adaptor cap which will allow you to attach to your current spring and extend it up to another 38cm.
Two sizes are available. The Small (10mm inner diameter) matches the springs used with the rifle caliber machines and the large size (12mm inner diameter) as shipped with the pistol calibers.
Note that some “do it yourself” supports for the spring will be needed to prevent it sagging under the weight of the bullets. You do need to keep the tube running downwards and prevent bullets from “pooling” in a sagging loop.
The Dropper Assembly is needed for shooters who wish to set up a second tool-head in the same caliber, and wish to quickly transition from, say, 9mm to .38super. Or from one 9mm bullet to another. A change is needed to the collator parts, and if a 2nd tool-head is to be used on the progressive reloader, it is quicker and easier to leave an adjusted Mr.Bulletfeeder dropper on each tool-head. This allows for quick swapovers, without the need to calibrate or adjust the dropper. Note that in most cases you will need to purchase an additional Powder Funnel for your second tool-head’s powder measure, as our expanding powder funnel is required for troublefree reloading.
The 2018 Hanger Assembly for the Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA ships as standard with all new units leaving DAA as of Jan 2018.
Should you wish to upgrade your current hanger assembly (the one with the round Delrin pucks and aluminum rods) you can do so by purchasing this new hanger separately. It is reverse-compatible with all previous Mr.Bulletfeeder by DAA units.
The new hanger is a simplified design, which makes assembly and adjustments to the tilt angle easier and faster to make. The Horizontal aluminum bracket clamps directly onto the motor gear box, allowing for easy assembly on either the left or the right side of the collator, to accommodate your specific position mounting needs.
The vertical piece hangs over the side of your case feeder, and connects to the horizontal bracket by means of a large M8 bolt, which can be loosened and rotated for tilt adjustments.
Sturdy attachment to the collator, a simplified design with fewer parts, thick aluminum profiles and way fewer screws make this hanger simpler and easier to setup and adjust.
Note: Machine NOT included - only Hanger.
The DAA Deluxe Magnetic Pouch utilizes two powerful 32mm magnets to hold the magazine securely in place while providing a smoother release than that achieved from the larger standard Magnetic Pouch. The support side walls allow us to use smaller magnets which in turn make the pouches more useable as an all-round pouch for every day use, and not just as a designated pick-up Pouch.For those shooters who like the simplicity and minimalist look of an open magnetic pouch - this is the perfect choice! The slim body make it possible to position pouches closer together while still leaving enough room to reach down and grab the magazine correctly. The lack of external or front pouch walls allow the pouches to be spaced that much closer together. Perfect for Standard or Production where one must wear the pouches behind the hip bone.The pouch is attached to our new model belt hanger, which locks securely on any 1.5" belt, clamping down to hold tightly even on thinner belts. The pouch can be swivelled around the centre screw (lower magnet's middle) to angle the pouch as designed. The off-centre mounting point on the hanger offers the option of two heights to choose from. Some shooters prefer to have a muzzle support on their competition holster. This is an indisputable fact.While most users will find that the Race Master holster functions perfectly without the additional muzzle support, there are some added advantages to using this extension: The muzzle support prevents the gun from being dislodged upwards, which could happen if bumped on the shooters thigh, or against a prop, during a walkthrough. If the holster was left unlocked, the gun can be dislodged. The muzzle support prevents this from happening.
he DAA Output Chute can be attached to any reloading press, hanging onto the same bracket which usually holds the Akro-Bin, and replacing it.
The long, 120cm (4ft) feed spring enables you to run the ammo down to a container on the floor, sparing you the need to empty that bin as you reload, and uncluttering your reloading press.
The Wide 2" Belt Hanger for Alpha-X Pouches, is a complete fully-assembled belt hanger for the Alpha-X pouches – enabling the user to attach these pouches to a wider belt. The wide bracket and included spacers will accommodate up to a 2” wide belt, and the two ¼” spacers make it easy to use on a 1.75” belt or a 1.5” belt as well.
The hanger is complete, including the steel bracket on the back with the two removeable spacers, and the ball joint for attachment to the Alpha-X pouch body.
Pouch body and pouch-spacers are not included.
A silicone cloth is one of the most useful items to have in your range bag. It has multiple applications for IPSC shooters: First and foremost it can be used to improve the feeding reliability of your magazines. Many top US shooters run their bullets through the silicone rag before loading the ammo into the magazine. When slightly coated with silicone, the bullets roll better in the magazines, and magazine feeding problems are eliminated. You can also run the silicone cloth through your mag tube when cleaning. Use the cloth to wipe down the outside of your gun and magazines to prevent rust and remove finger marks. The silicone cloths come packed in individual zip bags which prevent the rag from drying out. The DAA Universal Cleaning Kit is a truly comprehensive kit including all you need to maintain both rifles and pistols. The kits in designed to support 6 calibers, including these rifle calibers: 0.177, 0.223, 0.308 , and these pistol calibers: 9mm, 0.40 and 0.45.
The kit is packed in a sturdy Tactical-type case, made of heavy-duty D-600 material and including a large top-quality wrap-around zipper. Zipper heads have long cord heads for easy access. The case itself is Molle-ready, and can be attached on the outside of many bags and tactical packs. Multiple Molle-Pattern Velcro tabs on the front, allow you to add name tags, patches or other small attachment items. The case includes a rubberized DAA logo on a front Velcro tab.
Inside the kit is a multitude of accessories, all neatly packed and held in place with dedicated pockets and straps. The kit includes the following items:
