In recent years Double-Alpha Academy's competition holsters have been setting the benchmark for advanced design and cutting-edge performance. The Race Master Holster has become the go-to competition holster worldwide for many top Champion shooters in our sport.

Double-Alpha is known for not standing still, and over time the Race Master Holster has been improved. Upgrades and refinements were made to its hanger system and more recently, to the patented insert block, making it magnetic and improving its performance further.

And now, over the past few months, DAA has been working on the next generation holster. We are very proud to introduce the Alpha-X holster!

The ALPHA-X was born of years of experience and market feedback, looking to take the Race Master Holster even further, creating a new fresh, striking look and adding several meaningful performance upgrades.

New Ball Joint and Lock-Up Mechanism

The ball joint of the Alpha-X offers a wide range of motion, allowing you to position your holster at just the right angle. This holster uses a much larger ball joint and a pressure lug lock-up, which locks the ball firmly without marking or damaging it. With this system even the smallest adjustments are always possible.

The ball joint is now located higher up, closer to the center of the holster. This reduces the torque and forces applied, contributing to the solid rigid feel of the holster. 

A large easy-to-reach one-screw locking system allows you to adjust the holster position even when wearing it.

Body Rail Height Adjustment

The Alpha-X achieves its height adjustment by means of a rail built directly into the side of the holster body itself. This offers an extended range of adjustment and again reduces torque and forces applied. Here too the lock up is achieved by an expanding dovetail mechanism that does not gouge or damage the rail.

Detachable Belt Hanger

The Alpha-X has a two-piece belt hanger which can be dismantled by opening a single screw, allowing all position settings to be maintained while removing the holster body from the belt for easier space-saving transport.

The Alpha-X belt bracket is designed to fit only on a 1.5” wide competition style belt. It will not fit on a 1.75” or a 2” belt unless you are prepared to cut a piece out of the belt. And, like all Race holsters, it should only be used on a firm, rigid, thick belt.

Interchangeable Color Logo Inserts

The Alpha-X is available in black anodize only, with an assortment of optional color inserts for the hanger and body logos. You can change these laser-cut plastic inserts whenever you choose.

The Range BenchLoader™ loaders is a heavy-duty industrial 5.56 / .223 cal magazine loaders made to load a magazine in a single hand stroke. It is intended for daily loading of hundreds of magazines at shooting ranges and armories. It totally eliminates fingers pain and injury, shorten loading time, and keep the magazines lips intact.

Warren Tactical Series sight design is void of sharp corners, serrations, undercuts, and odd angles because they are distracting!

The patented, curved rear profile, called the "Waive Design" and the radius corners of the rear notch combine to quickly direct the shooter's vision upward toward the front sight and the target / threat.

The Waive Design also allows faster "target to target" transitions. Plus, with the long outer corners of the rear sight removed, the shooter can see more of the target / threat area clearly. Front sight height: 5.5mm (0.215”) Front sight width: 3.2mm (0.125”)

The DAA 1911/2011 Ambidextrous Safeties with Shields are precision-made stainless-steel Safeties made with state-of-art Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology. They are designed for use on any 2011 or 1911 pistol, with some minor fitting required. It is always recommended to have a competent Gun Smith fit safeties!

The Dropper Assembly is needed for shooters who wish to set up a second tool-head in the same caliber, and wish to quickly transition from, say, 9mm to .38super. Or from one 9mm bullet to another. A change is needed to the collator parts, and if a 2nd tool-head is to be used on the progressive reloader, it is quicker and easier to leave an adjusted Mr.Bulletfeeder dropper on each tool-head. This allows for quick swapovers, without the need to calibrate or adjust the dropper. Note that in most cases you will need to purchase an additional Powder Funnel for your second tool-head’s powder measure, as our expanding powder funnel is required for troublefree reloading.

The DAA Carbon 1911 Grips are 0.250 inch thick panels which create a surface that provides the flawless grip so critical for recoil control. The carbon offers a striking hi-tech appearance, and unparalleled durability. 
The tactical design includes a wide, deep, thumb cutaway which allows you unrestricted access to any mag-catch installed on your 1911. 

The CNC machined Carbon material is light weight extremely touch and is totally resistant to oils and solvents. 

These carbon grip panels offer not only improved performance when shooting your 1911, but also an attractive dark-colored carbon “techy” appearance. 

Each set include 4 stainless steel torx screws, with a custom head design, a torx key and are packed in a display-friendly blister-pack.

With Production Division on the rise and many shooters in this IPSC Division choosing a Kydex closed-body holster (and all USPSA Production shooters having to use it), creating a better Kydex holster is always high on our agenda. We believe in constantly striving to improve all our products, and the new innovations in the PDR PRO-II holster reflect that philosophy.

We took a long hard look at our PDR PRO holster, and combined with valuable customer feedback decided to make some changes to improve the product further.

>span class="s1">We upgraded this part from plastic to aluminum, and redesigned the manner in which the height adjustment and vertical lock-up is achieved. The PDR PRO-II now has a set screw in the ball itself, which can be accessed from its inner side, allowing you to adjust height to any position, not just in the predetermined 10 mm steps as before. Also this height adjustment can now be achieved without dismantling the holster and without losing any of the other settings.

>span class="s1">And of course the excellent features of the PDR PRO line have been retained: the slick fast unlined body, the advanced ball joint belt hanger with its wide range of adjustability, slim-line retention bars and spacers for use on competition belts ranging from 1.5”-2.0” in width.

The Shell Sorter™ is a simple product designed to reduce the time spent sorting brass by caliber, allowing you to enjoy more time reloading and shooting.

The Sorter simply sits on top of a common 5 gallon bucket, with a few shakes your brass is sorted by caliber. The Shell Sorter™ is comprised of three pans designed to sort several common calibers.

The three main calibers that most reloaders sort are 45 ACP, 40 S&W, and 9mm. We have labeled the sorters according to those three main calibers. The sorters do sort many more calibers!

The fastest way to sort is to stack all three of the pans together with the yellow pan on top, and the black on the bottom, in that way all your brass is sorted at the same time.

If you sort before tumbling as is recommended, most shells that are inside of each other will come apart with the shaking and are sorted correctly. However, if you tumble first, those are likely to jam together with small bits of media, and sometimes those require pliers.

The sorters can also take the place of your media sifter. Just tumble, pour your brass into the appropriate sorter(s), shake a bit, your media is in the bucket, and your brass is ready for the next step.

You can use this on the range so that you only bring home brass in the calibers that you reload.

The Shell Sorter™ is made of ABS, a very strong plastic which will give a lifetime of service. We placed a sorter underneath a car tire, and it didn't break or distort! In fact, it still worked!

Always wear gloves and a dust mask when working with used brass because of the levels of lead dust present.

Producing the perfect IPSC shooting pants has been a goal of ours at DAA for a long while. We have tried before several times, with varying degrees of success.

However now, with the new DAA SHOTAC Pants, we believe we have “hit the nail on the head!”.

Our SHOTAC Pant is made of lightweight, tough and durable rip-stop fabric, which provides ample flex and an extremely comfortable fit. The design and material choice allow you a comfortable range of motion, without appearing loose fitting or baggy. These pants do not look or feel like gym/sweat pants – but they provide as much flexibility and comfort as any sportswear!
