The KynSHOT RB5004 “Shorty” Recoil Buffer is designed for AR-10 carbines with a collapsible stock and an AR-15 length (7.0") buffer tube which is common on many AR-10 applications. The RB5004 reduces felt recoil 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle flip. The improvement in weapon accuracy – specifically second and third shot accuracy – is even more noticeable as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier's rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered.

The KynSHOT RB5000L Hydraulic Recoil Buffer is optimized for use with light loads, including subsonic ammunition and .300 BLK. The RB5000L has seen heavy use with civilian competition shooters, law enforcement personnel, and the United Sates Armed Forces. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier’s rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. This model is made lighter and requires less force to cycle than the standard AR-15 KynSHOT Buffer. This is intended for soft cycling or under gassed guns that will not lock back on the last round with the standard carbine hydraulic buffer or heavier buffers. .300 BLK guns running exclusively supersonic ammo may be fine with a standard hydraulic buffer if the bolt cycles firmly and has proper ejection placement.

The KynSHOT RB5000HP Recoil Buffer is designed for over gassed AR-15 carbines or "Thumpers" like the .50 Beowulf or .458 SOCOM. The RB5000HP is also designed for CMMG's 9mm radial delayed blowback system.  Please contact us to verify your application. This set includes an AR15 backplate with a QD mount and a Castle nut for mounting your buffer tube.

Mil-spec AR15 upper receiver with integrated bress deflector. Forward asist and ejection port cover are allready installed.

Outerwild’s gas tubes are precisely machined from seamless stainless steel tubing and fit all standard AR-type gas systems.

The Heat-Treated Castle Nut screws onto the AR15/M4 lower receiver extension (buffer tube) and keeps the receiver extension and lower receiver end plate secured in place.  The large notches allow for positive engagement with a castle nut wrench for proper installation and torque.  The smaller notches provide a location for the end user to stake the castle nut to prevent accidental loosening.

Finished in a Mil-spec manganese phosphate.
