Made using 17-4 stainless steel, the RB5000HP KynSHOT Recoil Buffer AR-15 is a proven system that has seen heavy use with civilian competition shooters, law enforcement personnel and the United States Armed Forces. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier’s rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. The RB5000HP KynSHOT Recoil Buffer reduces felt recoil by 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle flip.The improvement in weapon accuracy – specifically second and third shot accuracy- is large as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights.

The KynSHOT RB5000L Hydraulic Recoil Buffer is optimized for use with light loads, including subsonic ammunition and .300 BLK. The RB5000L has seen heavy use with civilian competition shooters, law enforcement personnel, and the United Sates Armed Forces. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier’s rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. This model is made lighter and requires less force to cycle than the standard AR-15 KynSHOT Buffer. This is intended for soft cycling or under gassed guns that will not lock back on the last round with the standard carbine hydraulic buffer or heavier buffers. .300 BLK guns running exclusively supersonic ammo may be fine with a standard hydraulic buffer if the bolt cycles firmly and has proper ejection placement.

The KynSHOT RB5004 “Shorty” Recoil Buffer is designed for AR-10 carbines with a collapsible stock and an AR-15 length (7.0") buffer tube which is common on many AR-10 applications. The RB5004 reduces felt recoil 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle flip. The improvement in weapon accuracy – specifically second and third shot accuracy – is even more noticeable as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights. The package allows the variation from collapsible to fixed and includes tube, buffer, spring and screw.

Our firing pin is CNC machined from S7 Tool Steel to withstand an unlimited amount of firing. It features a design with more material than factory to ensure hard-hitting performance. We also adjusted the point of contact to cover more of the rim to help achieve positive ignition on every shot.

Ideal for sporting use, this has been made lighter than the standard A2 and it is therefore compatible with our lightweight carriers and spring A2.
