The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) model is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15 / M16 carbines, and comes in Mil-Spec and Commercial-Spec variants. The AFG-2 (Angled Fore Grip) is a slim line design that is shorter in overall length and width compared to the original AFG. By positioning the shooter's hand high on the centerline of the bore, unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the AFG-2 helps mitigate recoil and control the weapon to facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots.

This stock uses Ace original soft foam overtube for the ultimate cheek weld. A billet machined gusset reinforces the receiver extension tube at its weakest point directly behind the receiver. Precision machined aluminum butt clamps directly to the RET and provides a machined in sling mount.
The Magpul® Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad, 0.70" is an optional replacement butt pad for the CTR® and MOE® Carbine Mil-Spec stocks as well as the original UBR®, all STR®, ACS-L™ and ACS™ stocks.
