The KynSHOT RB5000HP Recoil Buffer is designed for over gassed AR-15 carbines or "Thumpers" like the .50 Beowulf or .458 SOCOM. Made using 17-4 stainless steel, the RB5000HP KynSHOT Recoil Buffer AR-15 is a proven system that has seen heavy use with civilian competition shooters, law enforcement personnel and the United States Armed Forces. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carrier’s rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. The RB5000HP KynSHOT Recoil Buffer reduces felt recoil by 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle flip.The improvement in weapon accuracy – specifically second and third shot accuracy- is large as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights.

Our KynSHOT buffer weight, that was designed in cooperartion with Blitzkrieg Components, LLC., can be used with our PCC hydraulic buffers, and in certain cases, our AR hydraulic buffers to add mass in front of the buffer. The Spacer Weight also adds .75" in length to the buffer system, and adds 2.5 ounces of weight, which is designed for a close fit buffer tube while preventing tilting of the buffer during cycling. The weight has several functions: the additional mass further delays initial bolt movement and slows the bolt velocity, it helps to keep the buffer aligned in the buffer tube, and its additional length can be used to make a short stroke system if desired.

MBX AIR BUFFER System

The Air Buffer System is used in the buffer tube to control felt recoil and sits behind the bolt carrier. During the normal firing cycle, the bolt moves rearward at a high rate of speed. As the Air Buffer System moves rearward the air is compressed within the buffer tube causing resistance due to a rise in air pressure. The rifle's bolt carrier velocity is subsequently reduced and felt recoil is reduced. Also the Air Buffer System creates a vacuum when the bolt travels into battery therefore reducing the harsh slam, muzzle dip, and perceived sight movement.
