Eemann Tech Extended Base Pad for GLOCK – 141 mm (5.55 in)

The Eemann Tech Extended Base Pad is a precision-machined upgrade for Glock 17 magazine bodies, offering increased capacity and reliability for competitive shooting. Designed for quick, toolless installation and removal, this base pad features a durable black anodized finish and includes a special heat-treated magazine spring made from high-quality music wire. It expands magazine capacity by 6 rounds, fitting up to 23 rounds total with a Glock 17 mag body. Compatible with Glock Gen3, Gen4, and Gen5 magazine bodies.

Specification:

  • Magazine Body Total Length: 141 mm (5.55 in)
  • Material: Machined aluminium
  • Finish: Black
  • Installation: Toolless, no tools required
  • Spring: Special magazine spring, heat treated
  • Capacity (with Glock 17 magazine body): 23 rounds (+6 rounds)
  • Compatibility: Glock magazine body (Gen3/4/5)

What’s Included:

  • 1 × Extended base pad (141 mm)
  • 1 × Eemann Tech extended magazine spring for Glock magazine  (music wire, heat treated)

Installation instruction:

  1. Confirm the firearm is unloaded. Work on a clear, safe bench.
  2. Hold the Glock 9mm magazine body upright with the feed lips facing up.
  3. Insert the Eemann Tech spring with the connected follower into the magazine body. Ensure the front face of the follower matches the feed angle.
  4. Slide the ET-120033 base pad onto the spring from the bottom until it contacts the magazine body.
  5. Maintain light upward pressure on the spring. Align the base pad rails with the magazine body grooves.
  6. Rock the base pad side-to-side gently and slide it forward along the rails until it snaps into the locking notch. Do not force it.
  7. Check the witness holes. If the spring appears misaligned, remove the pad and reseat the spring so it sits squarely in the base pad pocket.
  8. If the base pad resists locking, slightly compress the follower using a finger or a soft, non-marring tool while guiding the pad into place. Keep pressure centered on the spring.
  9. After the base pad locks, gently shake the magazine. Ensure the follower moves freely and that there are no loose parts or rattling.
  10. Load rounds one at a time up to the intended capacity. Confirm smooth seating and full follower travel.
  11. Ensure the magazine fits and locks into the pistol without binding. Perform unloaded dry-function checks only.
