Just swap this drop in conversion with the bolt carrier group from your 5.56/.223 chambered rifle and you will be ready to shoot .22LR.  Ships with 25rd 22LR magazine.  For best performance use a round style hammer as notched hammers can cause function issues and 36 grain plated nose bullets have proven to be the best choice for function.

Our carrier “Light competition” has been designed to be as light as possible, weighing only 182 gr with gas key assembled; it is ideal for sport activities, combined with ADC Adjustable Gas Block it allows the carbine to have a good yield.

Completely made of stainless steel, it is finished with anti-friction treatments that increase the fluidity in operation.

Even the aesthetics have not been neglected, the side and front grooves give a sinuous shape and sense of lightness.

The new CMMG MkGs Guard T is an AR-15 style semi automatic rifle designed using CMMG's patent pending radial delayed blowback operating system. This system easily allows for the use of the 9mm cartridge while reducing the overall weight of the platform along with the felt recoil. Additionally the using features a patent pending dual-pinned fully machined bolt catch linkage which makes the rifle easy to operate as well as intuitive. One of the biggest benefits of the Guard platform is that it feeds from factory GLOCK magazines. This allows you to tap into the supply of GLOCK magazines you may already have without having to shell out additional money. Finally the Guard is built from a Billet Upper Receiver and a Forged Lower Receiver. The aluminum is high quality 7075-T6 and will serve you well for years to come.
