Most AR-15 mag pouches have their roots in tactical or military applications. Not this one! DAA set out to create a totally new competition orientated pouch for the AR-15, and we are very proud of the result, the DAA AR-15 Racer Pouch!

Building on the success of the Magnetic Single Stack Pouch, we are pleased to offer the same configuration in two new models, a 2011 wide body and a CZ/TAN double-stack magazine size.

(Note that the wider CZ TS mags should select the 2011 model!)

Two 20 mm-round magnets hold the magazine firmly inside the  pouch track, allowing for secure retention and yet enabling a smooth and effective magazine release. The base on the pouch is the same as used in the Racer line, providing for two height positions and a step rotation adjustment. The thin steel plate at the back of the belt-hanger minimizes separation between the inner and outer belt. Perfect for these pouches, which are often mounted close together on the outer shooting belt. This pouch configuration is ideal when wanting to mount pouches close together and allow easy access to multiple magazines without having to reach too far back.

The DAA Deluxe Magnetic Pouch utilizes two powerful 32mm magnets to hold the magazine securely in place while providing a smoother release than that achieved from the larger standard Magnetic Pouch. The support side walls allow us to use smaller magnets which in turn make the pouches more useable as an all-round pouch for every day use, and not just as a designated pick-up Pouch.

For those shooters who like the simplicity and minimalist look of an open magnetic pouch - this is the perfect choice! The slim body make it possible to position pouches closer together while still leaving enough room to reach down and grab the magazine correctly. The lack of external or front pouch walls allow the pouches to be spaced that much closer together. Perfect for Standard or Production where one must wear the pouches behind the hip bone.

The pouch is attached to our new model belt hanger, which locks securely on any 1.5" belt, clamping down to hold tightly even on thinner belts. The pouch can be swivelled around the centre screw (lower magnet's middle) to angle the pouch as designed. The off-centre mounting point on the hanger offers the option of two heights to choose from. The pouch body is machined from solid Delrin and so is tough and durable. Available in Black only.

We are pleased to offer the IDPA Magazine Belt attachment separately too, as an accessory to be used with other pouches of your choosing.

This attachment is made of PA66 Nylon with 30% glass fiber, making it extremely tough and durable. It can be used to attach the gear of your choice to any belt, with a thickness up to 8mm and a width of 1.5”-2.25” (39mm-57mm). The hanger includes a set of six spacers which allow you to quickly and easily adjust the width of the mounting slots to suite your belt.

The hanger includes the M5 mounting screw and our unique DAA serrated adaptor plate, which clicks into many DAA products, including our Racer pouches, most of our magnetic pouches, AR15 pouch quad loaders and more. But we also include a larger rubber washer which can be used to attach a Race Master pouch body to this hanger by placing the rubber washer between the hanger and pouch body instead of the serrated washer.

Please note: These IDPA pouches are designed to be used on IDPA legal leather belts, not on Velcro inner/outer belt systems as used in IPSC, which are not legal for IDPA use. It is very difficult to install these pouches onto our Premium belt, as they are not designed for use on that belt. It is not a recommended combination.

The unique retention system that all DAA pouches utilize has made the Racer Pouch a very popular choice for competition shooters worldwide. However, to make it suitable for IDPA use, some changes and new features were required.

The IDPA Racer Pouch utilizes the same tested and proven Racer Pouch body on an entirely new hanger that allows the slide-onto-belt functionality required for IDPA competitors. The hanger is designed to position the pouch closer to the body, making it suitable for IDPA, but also with an eye to the carry and self-defense markets.

The thumb-adjustable wheel is removed to meet the IDPA rules. Tension adjustment is still possible by means of a pressure screw that can be turned with a hex key, accessed from the back of the pouch body.

The IDPA Racer Hanger is ideal for threading onto medium to thick belts with a width ranging from 1.5” to 2.25” (39 mm to 57 mm), using a set of included click-in spacers. For each belt width use the appropriate spacers to get a solid and secure fit. Interchangeable pouch inserts allow you to go from larger 2011 mags to smaller CZ/Tan mags. A third pressure spacer is included for Glock and M&P mags. A single stack spacer is also available as an accessory.

The DAA Magnet Cover is a practical and super-attractive addition to your Rig!

Designed to perfectly fit on the DAA 48mm large magnets, this cover is custom made from durable nylon, rubber coated, and incorporates a laser-cut stainless-steel (430) DAA Logo.

The logo itself is what firmly holds the cover in place – being made of magnetic stainless-steel, and thus attracted to the magnet.

Most serious shooters carry one of these large magnets on their belts, as they are real time savers on pick-up stages. But let’s face is – those magnets can be a pain, picking up steel debris sticking to your car interior or those metal storage cupboards. 

Not anymore! 

This cover does not completely eliminate the magnetic pull, but it greatly reduces it to where it’s no longer an issue.

The magnetic pull through the cover is still just strong enough to hold a magazine during a Load or Unload procedure, but not strong enough to be trustworthy when running.

So leave the cover on until that stage in which you need your pick-up magnet, at which time you simply pop the cover off before the stage, and drop it in your pocket until after you’re done.

Due to popular demand we are now pleased to offer you the DAA Super-Strong magnets, sold separately, for mounting on the DAA Alpha-X / Race Master pouches, or any other type of base you care to use them on.

These Zinc plated magnets are incredibly strong, offering approx. 87kg of pull strength. With these magnets, you can slap on that magazine quickly and confidently and know that it will not fall off as you move. The magnets measure almost 50mm in diameter, and are 12mm thick (with their casing).

Fitting to an Alpha-X / Race Master Pouch:
In the front of the pouch there is a 4.2mm hole, which can be used to attach the magnet to the pouch body. You will need to tap (thread) this hole using an M5 Tap. Do it carefully and slowly as the thread needs to be precise, as there is only a 2.5mm side wall to work with. once done, simply screw the magnet directly onto the front of your leading pouch. We suggest using a little LockTite on it, to keep the screw from opening.

Do not worry if the tip of the screw protrudes slightly into the pouch body - the magazine does not reach down far enough to hit it.

Many PCC shooters use extended Glock Magazines, often with long base pads added for even more capacity.

To ensure the best possible retention in our Racer and Race Master mag pouches, we are pleased to offer this dedicated extended Glock Side spacer.

Simply assemble this spacer instead of your short one, and allow the bottom of your long mag to extend out the bottom of the pouch body, for a more balanced more secure retention.

The long spacer offers three hole positions in which to place the stopper, giving you the ability to experiment and decide for yourself what the best depth for your magazine is.

NOTE:  this spacer is not compatible with the Alpha-X line of pouches. Magazine and Magazine Pouch not inlucded!

Adjusting for various shell lengths can be done on the fly, without removing your rig, and without any tools. Simply turn the large tension wheel and the upper support slides up and down the rail to match your shell length.

Colored laser-cut insert plates decorate the upper and lower supports and are available in several colors.

In 2011 we introduce the all aluminum Race Master Magazine Pouches, the first of their kind. Their innovative design is so different from other model pouches, that all who used them were instantly fans.

However, their one shortcoming is their relative high price tag... A $60 pouch is not affordable by all, especially when you consider that you need 3 or 4 of them on your belt. So we set out to develop and produce a plastic molded version of this same winning design, and we are proud to introduce the all new DAA Racer Magazine Pouch, the perfect mate for the DAA Racer Holster!

The DAA Racer pouches borrow heavily from the Race Master Pouch. In fact, we took the very same body design, modified it to suite plastic mounding requirements, while maintaining the exact same unique “pressure from the back” adjustable holding system that has proven so successful. Interchangeable inserts allow you to go from larger 2011 mags to smaller CZ/Tan mags. A third pressure spacer is included for Glock and M&p mags.  A single stack spacer is available as an accessory as well.

The pouch is completely ambidextrous, allowing easy mounting for left hand or right had users. And you can even mount the pouch at 90deg away from the body, just as you can in the RM version.

The DAA Single Stack Magnetic Pouch is our latest magnetic pouch design, offering an ultra-compact and ultra-efficient magazine holding system for single stack shooters.

It positions the magazine only in the 90 deg “away from the body position” and is an excellent option for shooters who choose to carry their magazines this way, as many single stack shooters do.

The DAA Single Stack Magnetic Pouch utilizes two small yet powerful magnets that hold the magazine firmly in place while allowing it to rest inside its supporting track. The track guides the magazine in and out of the pouch and prevents it from accidentally being dislodged. The release achieved from this magnetic pouch is the smoothest of any of our magnetic pouches, partly due to the smaller contact area with the single stack magazines.

The belt hanger is the same as that used in the Racer pouches - the same minimalist steel plate design which eliminates separation between your inner and outer belt. The pouch can be adjusted for tilt in very small steps, allowing you to find your preferred angle. Once the correct angle is set and the center screw tightened, the serrations in the connector piece lock up, preventing any possibility of the pouch rotating until the center screw is loosened several turns.

The pouch is ambidextrous and can be mounted on the adjustable belt hanger for right- or left-handed users. It can even be mounted at a 90 deg angle away from the body. The pouch utilizes the same belt hanger as the Racer Pouch, enjoying the solid sturdy design and rock solid angle adjustments that the hanger offers.
