The Benefit to No Gap - In the past, 1911 magazines were stopped by a tang in front that rested against a relief in the front of the frame. Hey, it's worked for 100 years, but that required magwells to be open in front, to allow the mag to seat fully.This made the front of the magwell not very forgiving during a speed reload. So we redesigned the whole system. This new insert fills the front gap with a super slick polymer that is "very" forgiving. Now you can have 360 degrees to funnel your 1911 mag into perfect position for consistent, blazing-fast reloads. All great things come at a price so we had to design a 1911 mag and basepads that exceeded the limits of all conventional design. We took it to a whole 'nother level!
The new mags are DP reliable, of course, and have CNC machined aircraft aluminum base pads, not plastic. We built them to withstand a nuclear blast (although we haven't tested that yet).

The Magpul M-LOK AFG (Angled Fore Grip) is the result of research and refinements done to the original AFG and AFG-2. By integrating the direct-attach M-LOK mounting system with minimalist construction we were able to produce a high strength grip that only weighs 1.2 ounces, including hardware.
Allowing for a wider range of mounting location options, the M-LOK AFG is ¾" shorter than the AFG-2 while maintaining a similar gripping surface area. Even though the M-LOK AFG is more compact than its predecessors it continues to take into account natural body mechanics to provide a comfortable and stable user interface that reduces fatigue and allows for more precise weapon control. By positioning the shooter's hand high on the centerline of the bore, unlike conventional vertical fore grips, the M-LOK AFG helps mitigate recoil and control the weapon to facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The Magpul® Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad, 0.70" is an optional replacement butt pad for the CTR® and MOE® Mil-Spec stocks as well as the original UBR®, all STR®, ACS-L™ and ACS™ stocks.
It is designed for enhanced shoulder purchase as well as offering slightly improved recoil reduction with its thicker, vented construction. The Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad can also be installed on Commercial-Spec MOE®/CTR® stocks, but may prohibit use of fully collapsed position due the extended, slanted back of most commercial-spec receiver extensions.

The BT15 - 3.35" 1913 Rail will accommodate hole patterns with a center to center spacing of 1.76 – 2.78" and a relieved back to accommodate curved surfaces. A standard sling stud and sling stud spacer can be used as one fastener or two button head machine screws can be used. NO HARDWARE IS INCLUDED. See BT1517 to attach this rail to the forearm of standard rifle stocks. Available in black only.
