BUL slide lock with small edge is designed do be used as a small thumbrest. Due to its slim profile it is designed to be used and can be used on 1911s, without any penalty or problems in IPSC. Can also be used on SAS II models.

FUNCTION
- If you use this slide lock as a thumb rest alternative, than it wil not engage when the magazine is empty on SAS II or 1911 models.
- If you use it without thumb placed on it than it will engage when mag is empty on SAS II models, but will still not do so on 1911 models. This is due to the thinner side wall of the slide lock on the SAS II model chasies vs the thicker side wall on the 1911 chassie.

NOTE
With 1911 models: when using Mec-Gar magazines the slide can get caught on the back ledge of the follower, when mag is empty. You dont need to worry about this with Metalform and Cobra mags.
