The setscrews in the dovetail of the plate are there to prevent the sights to drift left or right on the pistol.
Together with the plate are some fixing pins delivered, to be used according to the red-dot sights of your choice.
No other screws are delivered because they are delivered with the Dot sights and their shape is typical for the brand and make of the sights.
